18th century pencil engraving published by Demarteau l'ainé, engraver (1750-1802), after a painting by François BOUCHER, Venus in the bath, 1769.
Numbered in the plate: n°204.
The engraving shows Venus coming out of the bath, accompanied by a following and two putti.
Mention in the lower part of the plate: "A Paris chés Demarteau, Graveur du Roi rue de la Pelleterie à la Cloche"
In an antique giltwood frame with a single rod.
