Murano "Sommerso" free form ashtray with moving pink & purple colours
Hand-made and cut in the 1960s
Unsigned but probably designed by Flavio Poli
The "Sommerso" technique was developed in Murano in the 1930s & combines layers of coloured glass in layers so that the colours throw themselves into each other and therefore we have a different look from all angles.

Small scratches on the ashtray & under the base but good condition.
