Description
Rare Mauclair Dacier Seven Families game, circa 1890
Mauclair was an employee of Watilliaux (which produced games from 1874 to 1908). When he left the company and set up on his own in 1887, he became a major rival. In 1904, he was taken over by JJF (Jeux et Jouets Français).
This game is made up of 7 families illustrating different trades with evocative names: Bonveau, Duracuir, Duveston, Dupétrin, Barbichon, Cornichon and Lapalette families
And 6 cards per family with the grandfather, the grandmother, the father, the mother, the son and the daughter
Unfortunately incomplete but still rare and great fun!
10ht x 6.9L cards.
Missing 3 cards: Son Bonveau, Aieule Duveston, Fille Cornichon
Wear and tear and 3 cards particularly damaged but otherwise the set is in fair condition
