Description
Glass ball paperweight by the artist Bob Le Bleïs, master glassmaker in Maure-Vieil - Mandelieu - La Napoule, in the 1970's.
Black - dark brown glass ball with gold inclusions.
A label & a stamp underneath.
Initially a new age fitness centre, the Maure-Vieil glass factory was built in the 1960s on the initiative of Bob Le Bleïs. With its modernist architecture, the production of the "Maure-Vieil glassmakers" concentrated mainly on glass paste. It closed its doors in the 1990s.
