Adrian helmet manufactured and used during the First World War from 1915 to 1918.
Designed in a hurry when millions of soldiers found themselves engaged in trench warfare and head injuries became the cause of a significant proportion of battlefield casualties.
These helmets come out of the Japy Frères factories in Paris.
